Pat Robertson Endorses Giuliani . . . Disappointing

I was very disappointed to learn that Pat Robertson has endorsed Giuliani. Christian leaders are making a huge mistake by backing so many different candidates, and to back a pro-abortion candidate is even worse.

This is very sad, and a sad day for Evangelicals.

Mr. Robertson should have been leading the way in communicating to all major Evangelical leaders that we need to get behind one strong conservative. Right now, Mike Huckabee is the only one out there.

May the unborn forgive us.

Uh, you seem to be forgetting Ron Paul. Pro-life (a practicing OB/GYN who has never performed an abortion), pro-family (married to the same woman for 50 years), the most fiscally conservative candidate in the race (prefers eliminating the IRS outright to the FairTax), and - unlike Huckabee - actually has the money to compete. What's not to love?

Some people used to say that Mike Huckabee was probably unelectable. They are now rethinking that idea, but those people didn't even bother to say it about Ron Paul.
